These O2 sensor eliminator kits are used when you want to operate your bike without O2 sensors—for example, if you wish to adjust the air/fuel ratio at idle and under partial load for racing purposes using tools such as Diag4Bike, a Daytona Twin Tec Twin Tuner (in conjunction with a Daytona Twin Scan tool), a Dynojet Power Commander, a Screamin' Eagle Pro Super Tuner, or similar systems. The eliminators plug into the stock wiring harness and simulate a "cold sensor" state, which keeps the ECM in "open-loop" mode. Eliminators designed for 4-wire heated sensors can also be used to bypass the secondary O2 sensors on Euro 5-compliant motorcycles; in this application, their sole function is to protect the harness-side connectors from moisture and dirt, ensuring they remain in good condition for potential future use. Any resulting Check Engine Light (CEL) or Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be disabled using the Diag4Bike software and a corresponding Diag4Bike tuning license.
