Note: For maximum flexibility, Zodiac oil pumps provide optional location for the oil supply fitting. Dyna's, late FL's and other models with oil tanks below the transmission should use the stock location. Otherwise, under certain circumstances air could enter the oil pump and interfere with engine lubrication. No provision is made for rear chain oiling. The oil pump for 1936 thru 1976 Big Twin is equipped with an adjusting screw to control primary oil metering.

Note: S&S crankcases have either a two or three letter code stamped above either the rear engine mount surface or above the oil pump mounting surface. When the first letter is "A" you must use a pump for 1984-1991, when the first letter is "B" you must use a pump for 1992-1999.
